Sex and female bodies, the men who love them, taking off the few clothes they are wearing only to reveal nothing but white or black. My works reveal the wild stereotyping of sexy women on the media. Over stimulation, Internet diarrhea, low quality images; a constant bombardment of barely dressed, beautiful women making the same 'sexy' face in the same 'sexy' pose. One body looking exactly like another.
Bodies in my works are ripped apart, stripped of their clothes. Nothing is revealed, faces hidden under another woman's plastered smile. Empty body parts, juxtaposed, to create floating images of something alien.
False ideas plastered on images, clones of clones of clones. Clones of smiles, legs, breasts, cleavage. Leaving only remnants of a morphed body.
This inspiration is brought together in collage that has been digitally printed on silk, bamboo, and organic cotton.
